Livestreaming

Live streaming technology lets you watch, create and share videos in real time, a bit like live TV. All you need to be able to live stream is an internet enabled device, like a smart phone or tablet, and a platform (such as a website or app) to live stream from.

On Friday August 14, our first group of students referred to as 'Appleseeds' transformed a vision into a reality with a special localised broadcast of the middle school athletics carnival. A special shoutout to Jacob Crook and the team mentioned below for a job well done. In the uncertainty of Covid 19 it is reassuring that with minimal capital expenditure our college is capable of broadcasting to the masses. Much of this initial credit is as a result of the highly capable ICT Innovator Mr Jacob Crook. Combine this with an eager group of MTCC students and we have a recipe for success.

Whilst acknowledging the great work done including our staff guests and Father Geoff, we also thank Mr Drew Walsh for his encouragement and Mrs Kerri Swetman for treating the crew to a special luncheon reward.

The Appleseeds also acknowledges and thanks Mr Angelo Di Carlo (technical support and photography), Mr Michael Lester from Catalytic IT for providing outside wireless access and Mr Johnny Ho from Mandurah Catholic College for his advice and loaning of resources.
